On 4th of May, 2008, CMA CGM CHATEAU called at CCT, which signified the maiden voyage of MEX2 Service at CCT.
MEX2 is jointly operated by CMA CGM and TNWA, 8 Vessels ranging between 4000 and 4500TEU will be deployed.
The new services is divided into 2 routes, the rotation of West Bound is: Shanghai – Ningbo – Hong Kong – Chiwan – Singapore – Port Kelang – Damietta – Genoa – Barcelona – Fos Sur Mer, and the East Bound rotation is: Damietta – Jeddah – Port Kelang – Singapore – Chiwan – Shanghai.
