4 X 40’ containers with Olympic cargoes are discharged at CCT around 09:00, July 18, 2008. And it only took 2 hours for these cargoes to make clearance, and successfully loaded on trucks on their way to Beijing.
As the final count-down of Beijing Olympic, it is expected that more Olympic cargoes will go through CCT, which will require China Customs and China Inspections & Quarantines to provide efficient services for cargo clearance. To complying with this requirement, Shekou Customs and CIQ have established a green passage for Olympic cargoes and provide services at dedicated windows, so as to speed up the clearance processes.
