On September 18, the second session of 2nd Technology Committee Conference of China Ports & Harbours Association for Container Branch was held ceremoniously in Dongguan, Guangdong province. The theme of this conference was “energy-saving, green terminal” and attracted more than 180 delegates from related ports, logistics companies in China.
Under the background of advocating green policy, terminals in the world are getting increasingly focused on environmental issues. As the vanguard among the “Green Harbour” builders, CCT initiated the most advanced technology in the world——the overhead DC power supply. The innovative technology attracted great attention from related units since the news has been released, up to now, various organizations have come to CCT in order to know more about the new ERTG.
Mr. Xiong Haiming, the assistant general manager of CCT, took charge the conference. In the sections of technology lecture and forum, delegates discussed technical renovation of RTG conversion.
The conference was ended by midday. In the afternoon of 19th, all the delegates went to CCT to see the operation scene of ERTG.
