It has been 4 months since the actual launch of the automatic electricity adopting & off-circuit over-head DC technology on CCT’s “Oil to Electricity conversion”, so far a 930 meters long of a trolley line has been working well, and met the expected requirements.
Among the various “Oil to Electricity” technologies, the over-head DC technology is creating the least impact to the on-site operations; besides the energy saving property has been an outstanding key performance. But on the other hand, it will still take rather large investment and long construction period to see the completion of this project. In order to maintain the positive aspects and meanwhile minimize the negative aspects of the over-head DC project, CCT successfully designed “Low-trolley (Height) DC technology, and pilot test proved workable. Therefore, the “low-trolley DC technology” is to become another prominent remark of RTG conversion technology.
CCT has also made the simulation according to the environmental inspection figures, it is said the “oil to electricity conversion” is accomplished; it will greatly reduce to the emission of hazardous object, which will benefit society. It is estimated to reduce 69 tons hydro carbonate, 3619 tons of nitrogen oxides, 1448 tons of carbon monoxide, 214 tons of sulfuric compounds and 54 tons of particulates.
The project will be fully carried out by September 2009.
