Guangdong Branch of China Customs House officially distributed a new standard supervision rule of water way trans-customs within Guangdong Province on March 9, 2009.

        -  Import customs transfer cargo. Upon Customs of Destination confirmation in receipt of cargo, the second voyage import manifest can be created automatically by H2000 System. The modification work related to the cargo description, quantity, etc will be fulfilled by Customs of destination.

        -   Export customs transfer cargo. The current declaration mode will remain. For Through cargo, Customs recognize the commercial seal number and agree to input the customs transfer information with the commercial seal number.

        The above new procedures will simply the customs transfer of water way cargo and not only reduce cost and time but also effective and efficient as water way customs transfer via Hong Kong.

        For the expedition of the above, the delegation team from Zhanjiang Xiashan Customs visited Shenzhen Customs on March 25, 2009 and reached the agreement of admitting the commercial seal for water way import & export customs transfer operations.

        The new supervision rule will be effective immediately between two Customs.
