On April 11, 2009, a new Customs clearance procedure of water way transshipment outbound cargo implemented for the first time at CCT, where commercial seal verification replaced Customs seal verification. The operation went smoothly.
There are MSC, CMA and etc. were the first group of carriers took the trial, with great support of Shekou Customs and Zhanjiang Customs, and also with sufficient earlier preparation, 67 TEU shipped from Zhanjiang are totally effectively cleared before the 2nd relay onto mother vessels.
