On May 27th, 2008, the resumed Asia-Mexico Express (AME) service from Hapag-Lloyd / APL is calling at CCT. The purpose of resuming this service is to serve the shippers better and satisfy the needs of cargo increasing from Shenzhen western port to Mexico.
The AME service replaces the previous MAX service and still be managed both by Hapag-Lloyd and APL, and deploy six 4,000-plus TEU vessels on this service.
It calls at CCT every Tuesdays and the port rotation is Yokohama-CCT-Ningbo-Shanghai-Pusan-Yokohama-Ensenada-Manzanillo-Lazaro Cardenas-Ensenada.
