Chiwan Container Terminal’s long term partner – CMA CGM launched their new 16,020 Teus Mega class vessel and the first Mega Vessel – CMA CGM Marco Polo made her Maiden Call at CCT on November 14, 2012 morning. This Mega Vessel - 396 meters long and 54 meters wide
successfully berthed at CCT and this is her first call in Shenzhen, China. CMA CGM Marco Polo will be serving under CGM CMA French Asia Line – FAL1 service which call at CCT from Shenzhen to Europe.
Aside from the unique location of CCT, together with Pearl River Delta fruitful cargo source, everyone is having strong confident to make FAL1 full ship from CCT, Shenzhen to Europe. The successful berthing of CMA CGM Marco Polo again proves CCT’s ability to handle the mega vessels. CCT is managed by China Merchants Holdings International which is the biggest terminal investor and operator in China.
