After the first triple-lift quayside crane in the world arrived and operated by CCT, CCT saw a formal introduction of two world-top quayside cranes once more.
On January 13rd, 2008, two triple – lift quayside cranes, equipped with three spreaders capable of lifting three 40’ (or six empty 20') containers simultaneously, developed by ZPMC had arrived at CCT berth #12.
These two tandem – lifts has a total weight of 1,638.61 tons with lifting height of 43 meters and outreach of 65 meters that the same with the previous one. It can operate the world's largest container vessel without any difficulties.
In order to adapt the trend of ship upsizing, CCT has been bringing in world-top facilities and increasing the efficiency of operation continuously.
